Vx-EHT(RED) provides with a simple, economical method to substantially lower the earth contact resistance of vertical earthing electrodes and horizontal grounding systems. When used as specified by us Vx-EHT(RED) will lower the contact resistance to earth by 60 t0 70 %. Vx-EHT(RED) is an easily applied product which produces lower steady-state and stable grounding impedance. Vx-EHT(RED) produces a lower surge impedance which results in faster transient dissipation. Manufactured from environmentally safe and stable elements, Vx-EHT(RED) has an excellent self life and long term storage has no performance effects. Vx-EHT(RED) creates a positive, low-resistance, electrical connection between grounding system and the earth. Vx-EHT(RED) has been manufactured to be compatible with any metal electrode grounding systems and standard field application grounding grids to minimize STEP and TOUCH potentials. In high-resistivity soils, Vx-EHT(RED) can be used to produce acceptable grounding impedance with reasonable size. The versatility and ease of applying Vx-EHT(RED) to lower ground resistance of grounding equipment allows for a variety of earthing designs to be used which would otherwise be uneconomical or not practical. Field trials for the performance evaluation of Vx-EHT(RED) complex have been carried out in new earthing pits in EHV grid sub-station yards, Generating Stations, Telecom Exchanges and Mobile Telecom Systems. The data is plotted as under found very encouraging.

Vx-R(BLUE) is designed especially for the soil reactivation in existing earthing pit which exhibits high earthing resistance. It is proven ideal for the purpose. It is easy to apply substantially lower the Vertical Ground Rods in the pits as well as Horizontal Grounding Grids already laid way back and found higher soil resistivity. Vx-R(BLUE) will lower the electrode contact resistance to the earth by 60 to 70 %. It is easy to apply. There is no need to re-excavate the earthing pit back fill. Vx-R(BLUE) produces perfect steady state and sound grounding impedance. Vx-R(BLUE) produces a lower surge impedance which results in faster transient dissipation. Manufactured from environmentally, metallurgically safe and stable products, Vx-R(BLUE) has an excellent self life and long term storage has no performance effects. Vx-R(BLUE) is easily soluble in water, it has high viscosity hence sweeping of the solution near by is negligible, it remains in contact with surrounding soil for pretty long duration. Vx-R(BLUE) has higher adsorption factor with the soil particles, the homogeneous bond of soil and complexture provides shorter path for quick dissipation of fault current in all directions in the pit and horizontal grounding grids, which limits Ground Potential Rise, subsequently lower the STEP and TOUCH potentials.
