Step
1 :
Excavate
the Horizontal trench size 500 mm width by 1000 mm depth (Fig.
1)
Fill
up the bottom layer of the trench up to 300 mm approx. by Black
Soft Soil only and spray water till the soil become wetty. (Fig.
2)
Step
2 :
Prepare
the Homogeneous mixture of our
Vx-EHT(RED)
Complex with Black soft soil having ratio of (100 kgs. complex
+ 8 cmt. Black Soft Soil).
Fill
up the 2nd upper layer with above mixture upto further 200 mm
over previous layer of Black Soft Soil. (Fig. 3).
Lay
down the Horizontal earthing grid conductor of M.S./G.I. round
bar or flat section having the cross sectional area derived according
to the magnitude of the fault current to flow. (the magnitude
of fault current is calculated according to the network data related
with the proposed project site). (Fig. 4)
Again
cover the ground earthing grid conductor with the above prepared
mixture to further 200 mm layer and pour the water till the entire
mass become wetty. (Fig. 5)
Step
3 :
Finally
cover up the remaining 300 mm layer in the trench by black soft
soil and apply proper ramming. This will complete the horizontal
grid construction of project site. (Fig. 6)
P.S.
The
requirement of steel bar flat, black soft soil and our
Vx-EHT(RED)
complex can be worked out as per
the over all length of the Horizontal Grid to be constructed for
the proposed project site/switch yard.
